In this game, by Daniele Tascini and Antonio Petrelli, players assume the control of one of the noble families looking to earn prestige by gaining favors from the Seven Warring States of China. Over the course of four rounds, players will sell goods along the Chinese shores, bolster the power of rival ruling houses, and gain wealth in an attempt to gain influence. Tianxia offers players a strategy game that utilizes Tower Defense mechanics, engine building, and multiple routes to victory. The player who was the best governor, politician, merchant, and protector by the end of the game wins.
This game is for one to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 60 to 120 minutes.
Board & Dice will also release Energy Research Institute, a new expansion for Nucleum, into retail in August 2025 (see "New 'Nucleum' Expansion").
