Ape Entertainment and KiZoic have announced they will launch Scratch9, a four issue miniseries written and created by Rob Worley, in August.  Scratch9 will feature art by Jason T. Kruse and covers by Mike Kundel, artist on DC Comics’ Billy Batson and the Magic of Shazam.

Scratch9 concerns a cat who gains the power to summon any of his nine lives to aid him on his adventures.

It is the latest title in Ape Entertainment’s Kizoic young reader imprint, which includes comic books based on the DreamWorks Animation properties Shrek and Penguins of Madagascar.
