Coming out of Seattle's Emerald City Comic Con, DC Entertainment has announced two new series premiering in June.
First introduced in Flashpoint and teased as an important figure in the "New 52," Pandora receives her own ongoing, monthly title in Trinity of Sin: Pandora. Penned by Eisner and Harvey Awards nominee Ray Fawkes (One Soul, Justice League Dark, Constantine) and illustrated by Daniel Sampere (Batgirl, Justice League Dark), Trinity of Sin: Pandora traces Pandora's personal quest to confront the guilt, pain, and anger associated with her mythic name. An action and horror comic, Trinity of Sin: Pandora will coincide in parallel story developments alongside J.M. DeMatteis' rechristened Trinity of Sin: The Phantom Stranger, originally titled The Phantom Stranger.
Also coming in June, from Vertigo, is Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso's return to the world they created in 100 Bullets with Brother Lono. An eight-part mini-series, Brother Lono centers on Lono along with an entirely new cast of characters. Brother Lono will also feature covers by artist Dave Johnson. Although 100 Bullets ended in 2009, Azzarello and Risso have recently worked together on Vertigo's Spaceman (see "'Spaceman' Hardcover").
