CMON Limited announced the promotion of Jules Vautour to Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company, effective October 1. As COO, Vautour will continue to oversee worldwide sales and manage the daily activities of CMON’s American and Canadian offices. Vautour’s relationship with distributors and retailers will remain unchanged with this move.
Vautour joined CMON as Sales Director in 2016, hired along with fellow Asmodee NA coworker Ruby Nikolopoulou (see “CMON Hires Asmodee Sales and Marketing Duo”). He has grown his role with CMON since then, as the company has gone through a time of extensive growth (see “CMON Made $1 Million in 2016”). Prior to CMON, Vautour was Sales Director for Asmodee Editions Inc. from August 2012 – December 2015, and before that was Canadian National Sales Representative for Quebec-based ILO307 from May 2009 to August 2012.
“I’m humbled and grateful that CMON trusts me with this position,” Vautour said in the announcement. “I look forward to embarking on this next step with the rest of the team.”
At Gen Con, CMON revealed several prominent licensed games as well as some Euro-games planned for 2018 release (see “CMON Unveils High-Profile Games”).
