Comics auteur Frank Miller will write his first Young Adult graphic novel for DC Comics as part of a five-project deal, the company announced today.  The new graphic novel will star Carrie Kelley, a character Miller created for his classic Batman: The Dark Knight Returns story.  Art will be by Ben Caldwell, an artist on the Prez graphic novel that was one of the YALSA Top Ten Graphic Novels for Teens in 2017 (see "YALSA Top Ten Graphic Novels for Teens 2017").

The five-project deal, first revealed as part of this announcement, began with Miller and John Romita, Jr.’s Superman: Year One for DC’s new Black Label imprint for high profile stand-alone stories (see "DC Launches Imprint for High Profile Stand-Alone Stories").  Three projects are yet to be announced.
