Jasco Games has two licensed game releases planned for September: Cowboy Bebop: Boardgame Boogie and Buffy the Vampire Slayer Board Game Expansion: Friends & Frenemies.
Jasco picked up the license for the anime series Cowboy Bebop in 2015, and has added the property to its UFS CCG (see "Jasco Games Acquires 'Dragon Ball Z,' 'Cowboy Bebop'"). Now the company will release a cooperative board designed by Josh Derksen and Thomas M. Gofton. Players take the roles of the crew of the Bebop, traveling the stars, hunting bounties, dealing with everyday problems, and dealing with respective baggage and sins. MSRP is $39.99.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer Expansion: Friends & Frenemies is an expansion for the popular board game that released in late 2016 (see "'Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Board Game' Goes Through Four Quick Printings"). The expansion adds 6 new iconic characters, as well as 2 new Big Bads. Players can travel to the outskirts of Sunnydale with new locations, and stop The Initiative’s Soldiers from capturing demons and creating an army of fiendish hybrids. MSRP is $24.99. As an expansion, it requires the base game to play.
