At the holiday season, gift-buying parents and grandparents know what to buy: the series that they know kids have enjoyed in the past.  That keeps venerable series to the top of the chart (below Dog Man, of course, which triumphs over all).  There are some newer series, including Narwhal: Unicorn of the Sea, but most have been on the chart off and on for some time.

This chart of the ICv2 "Top 10 Kids Graphic Novel Franchises" reflects sales in all trade channels for Fall 2018, based on analysis of sales through comic stores and the book channel, including online.
