The first printing of IDW’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin #2 was 130,000, the company announced. The impressive numbers for the second issue follow similarly impressive numbers for the first issue, which hit 180,000 over two printings (see “Second Printing Brings ‘Last Ronin’ to $180K”).  Based on a 33-year-old story by franchise creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, the oversized first issue of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin (see "’TMNT: The Last Ronin") was released on October 28.

The 130,000 copies of #2 are not expected to fill demand; a second printing of #2, featuring a cover by the Escorza brothers (pictured here), has been ordered, the company said.
