We took a look at manga sales across channels for the Fall season (September-December) to develop guidance for retailers on the most efficient manga to carry, the manga franchises with the best bang per title slot in the store.  This chart of top manga franchises ranked by dollars per SKU for the period is the result.

Many manga titles on our Top Manga Franchises chart also appear on our chart of the Top 10 Manga Franchises overall (see "Top 10 Manga Franchises – Fall 2020") but differences exists.  Older series that hit the Top 10 Manga Franchises chart due to the cumulative weight of many volumes (e.g., Naruto, One Piece) drop off the chart of the Most Efficient Manga Franchises, replaced by newer series of title families with fewer volumes to stock, like Toilet-Bound Hanuko-Kun, Hellsing, and Chainsaw Man.  Hopefully, retailers will find this chart useful as one more tool to help with decisions on which titles to stock.
