Max released a teaser and new posters for House of Dragon Season 2 (see below).  House of Dragon was renewed back in August 2022 after garnering massive viewer numbers (see "'House of the Dragon'"); the new season is due Summer 2024.

Warner Bros. Pictures dropped a teaser trailer for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (see below).  This movie is a standalone in the Mad Max series that tells an origins story for the Furiosa character from Mad Max: Fury Road (see "'Max Max' Spinoff In Development").  It is set to hit theaters on May 24, 2024.

Warner Bros. released a trailer (below) for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, a second installment pairing the two kaiju in Legendary’s Monsterverse.  This is the first full trailer; a short teaser was released earlier this year (see "’Godzilla X Kong’ Teaser"). The release date has been bumped to April 12, 2024, a little later than originally planned (see "Geek Movie Calendar – 2024").

Amazon Prime Video revealed a teaser for The Boys Season 4 (see below), which will hit streaming in 2024.  This series was renewed for Season 4 in June 2022 (see "'The Boys' News").

DC Studios released a trailer for Suicide Squad ISEKAI (see below), the new anime series due in 2024.  Isekai, stories in which the lead character is abruptly transported to another world and has to learn to deal with a whole new reality, is one of the most popular types of fantasy in Japan (see "Isekai: Zapped into Another World").  James Gunn and Peter Safran also have plans to make an Amanda Waller series with Viola Davis playing the characters as she did in the Suicide Squad movies (see "DC Announces").

Netflix has revived production of Neil Gaiman's The Sandman Season 2, post-SAG-AFTRA strike.  The series, renewed back in 2022 (see "'The Sandman' Renewed"), will continue with an all-new sequence of stories.

Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television have begun development on a Spanish-language spinoff of The Boys, according to Variety.  Their sources say that the new series will be set in Mexico City and Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer, the scribe who penned DC's Blue Beetle movie (see "'Blue Beetle' Box Office"), is attached to the project.

Marty Krofft has passed away at age 86, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Krofft and his brother Sid, a renowned puppeteer, created several notable kids shows (see "Krofft Shows"), including The Banana Splits Adventure HourH.R. Pufnstuf and Land of the Lost. R.I.P. Marty Krofft.
