Portal Games announced Printing Press, a new board game based on the legacy of Johannes Gutenberg, which will head to U.S. retail on March 20, 2024.
In this game, players will immerse themselves in the process of 16th century publishing. Players will plan out publications using plates, frames, and printing cards to fulfill customer specifications. The goal of the game is for players gain fame points and become the most prestigious print shop of the Renaissance era.
The game is for one to four players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 15-60 minutes. Portal Games also revealed that they will release Thorgal: The Board Game in 2024 (see "'Thorgal: The Board Game'").
