Steamforged Games is expanding its new Local Legends line of boxed miniatures with four titles set to release on March 27.

Local Legends boxed sets are 5E-compatible accessories that include miniatures and ready-made encounters featuring those characters.  The sets in the series share the common theme of fantasy tavern encounters.  Each set can be used on its own, or combined with Steamforged's Local Legends Tavern Kit (see “Steamforged Reveals New ‘Epic Encounters: Local Legends’ Box”). 

The four sets announced include:

• Wraith:  The Wraith haunts the Silver Purse Tavern, luring unfortunates to its boobytrapped labyrinth.  This set includes five wraith minis, illustrated battlemap, and encounter booklet.
• Owlbear:  This uncommonly intelligent owlbear may be related to the long-ago disappearance of a power-hungry druid.  Comes with two miniatures, illustrated battlemap, and encounter booklet.
• Ghost Pirate:  The spirit of Bloodbeard McGraw has returned to recruit a crew for his ghostly ship.  Features four miniatures, illustrated battlemap, and encounter booklet.
• Diaemus:  Feeding on guilt, the bat-demon Diaemus seeks places where those who suffer from dark emotions tend to gather.  Includes four miniatures, illustrated battlemap, and encounter booklet.

The four sets are sold separately with an MSRP of $24.99 each.
