Tiny Onion will promote Exquisite Corpses: The Game, the upcoming TCG tied to the comic, with exclusive cards bagged with the Cover C variants of each issue.  Exquisite Corpses is a new horror comic event series co-created by James Tynion IV and Michael Walsh, with art by a sequence of artists through the 13-issue first season of the comic (see "’Exquisite Corpses’").

The TCG, designed by Exquisite Corpses co-creator and frequent Magic: The Gathering artist Walsh, will be launched shortly after the conclusion of the first comic season.  It’s described as "…a mix between competitive trading card games like Magic: The Gathering and casual party games like Ultimate Werewolf."

In the game, each player will take on the role of their favorite killer from the comic series, each with unique skills.  Walsh has been playtesting the game since early 2024 to ensure balance and quality gameplay.

The free cards with the Cover C variants of each issue will be killer cards, allowing a streamlined play before the release of the game.

Tynion described the genesis of the game.  "Michael showed up at that first story summit, six months before the rest of the team was there,"  he said.  "He was like, 'I think I have a game mechanic,' and started drawing on all of these little dry-erase cards, actually creating the stats for each of the characters in front of us.  And then we played a version of the game right there at the summit, and it was incredibly fun.  And we knew immediately that this could be something really, really cool."

Exquisite Corpses #1 will be a 60-page double-sized debut issue at $4.99; the Cover C variant is bagged with the exclusive killer card at $6.99 MSRP.
