In Suna Valo, designed by Andreas Odendahl, players work to reclaim the land in a futuristic, post-apocalyptic world. Their goal will be to establish farms, using cards played in columns, and eventually harvest crops, shear sheep, and collect eggs. To improve their farms, they can also build helpful new equipment and use farm-bots and transport drones to deliver resources. The game features resource management and delivery mechanics that complement strategic gameplay.
This game is for two players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 45 to 90 minutes. It will retail for $49.95.
Capstone Games also revealed Meltwater, another new post-apocalyptic board game (see "'Meltwater'").
