This week’s home entertainment releases include a rebooted Tomb Raider, a sensitive coming-of-age saga from Green Lantern scribe Greg Berlanti, the disc debut of the superb Netflix/Dreamworks’ revival of Voltron, as well as the third season of Syfy horror anthology series Channel Zero, and the second season of the new Berserk anime.

The distaff caper film Ocean’s 8 easily topped the weekend charts with an estimated $41.5 million, but the overall box office was down almost 20% from the same weekend a year ago, though there are signs of bigger things to come as the Jurassic World sequel debuted strongly overseas.

Ron Howard’s Solo: A Star Wars Story may have won the weekend box office, but executives at Disney had a Pyrrhic Victory on their hands as the pricy Star Wars spin-off earned a little more than half of what the previous Star Wars side-story film, Rogue One, amassed in its debut.
