A new campaign arc for Fantasy Flight Games’ Arkham Horror:  The Card Game will begin with the release of The Innsmouth Conspiracy Expansion in Q4.

Set in a decayed and corrupted seaside town, The Innsmouth Conspiracy reveals details of the hideous Deep Ones and the plots of the town’s cultists and human-Deep One hybrids.  The expansion includes two new scenarios set in the town and the tidal caves nearby, introducing new storylines that will carry through six upcoming Mythos Packs.

In addition to the new scenarios, the expansion offers five new characters to play, new enemies and plots to face, and three new game mechanics.  Key tokens will require players to unlock parts of a scenario by uncovering clues elsewhere and Flood tokens represent rising tides that can threaten the investigators and their efforts.  Meanwhile, Bless and Curse tokens may be added to the chaos bag to provide boons or penalties when they are drawn.
