TCGplayer and Legend Story Studios raised $100,000 for FLGS through their most recent DTC campaign.
The money was raised through a DTC program in which LSS offered a TCGplayer Tales of Aria Collector’s Bundle to consumers through TCGplayer's platform in September (see "TCGplayer, Legend Story Partner"). This is the second time TCGplayer and LSS have partnered for such a program. The first program raised $75,000 for local game stores (see "TCGplayer and LSS Distribute $75K to Local Game Stores").
"Due to the campaign's success, we're able to award even more money (this time) to these local retailers," said Chedy Hampson, founder and CEO of TCGplayer. "We look forward to continuing to work with James and the team at Legend Story Studios to create more campaigns like this one."
James White, found and CEO of Legend Story Studios, also commented on the successful campaign:
"Supporting the local game store community and creating space for players to connect is vital to our mission," said White. "I am blown away by what our partnership with TCGplayer has been able to accomplish..."
The Tales of Aria 1st Edition Booster Box was the most actively bought and sold sealed TCG product in September 2021 (see "'Flesh and Blood TCG' Tells Two 'Tales'").
