Gail Simone will write Rebel Moon: Nemesis, a new comic series based on the Zack Snyder movie universe, from Titan Comics.  Simone will be joined by artist Federico Bertoni on the series, with covers by Kael Ngu, Danny earls, Reza Afshar, Alice Meichi Li, and Chris Christodoulou.

The story will be a prequel to the Rebel Moon Netflix movie, featuring the origin of the Nemesis character.  A previous Rebel Moon comic prequel published by Titan Comics, Rebel Moon: House of the Bloodaxe, told the backstories of Rebel Moon characters Devra and Darrian Bloodaxe (see "Titan to Publish Prequel").

Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver, the second of the two Rebel Moon movies, dropped on Netflix in April 2024 (see "Netflix 2024 Slate").

Rebel Moon: Nemesis #1 will be released July 16 at $4.99 MSRP.
